Chris Sullens

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sullens is responsible for all aspects of the business including sales, marketing, corporate development, customer service and administration. Chris joined Marathon Data Systems as Chief Financial Officer in January of 2008 and was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer in December of 2008. He was formerly with ServiceMaster, where he held a variety of marketing and sales roles within the company and its home service brands. Most recently, he led the online marketing efforts and retail partnerships for all of ServiceMaster's brands as Corporate Vice President of Internet Marketing and Retail Initiatives. Prior to ServiceMaster, Chris held senior executive roles with OurHouse.com, a leading Internet e-commerce company; Applied Value and PRTM, management consulting firms; and Alcatel Lucent, a leader in the telecommunications equipment industry. Chris has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. with Honors in finance, strategy and entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Shankar-Jagannathan-Leadership-Team

Shankar Jagannathan

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Jagannathan leads Marathon’s business operations, which include the finance, administration and human resource teams. In the role, he spearheads all strategic initiatives related to corporate strategy, business and corporate, acquisitions and long-term financial planning. Prior to Marathon, Shankar Jagannathan was the Vice President of Products & Strategy for the Advanced Software Division within EMC Corporation. In this role, he led Global Product Management for a significant portfolio of Cloud and Infrastructure Management products. Shankar came to EMC from McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm. He was a core member of the Hi-tech Practice within the Firm, and consulted with technology companies, Venture Capital & Private Equity funds, primarily in the telecom and semiconductor sectors. Prior to McKinsey, Shankar was a Group Engineering Leader at a startup, working on advanced automation and electromagnetic systems. Shankar holds an MBA in Finance & International Business and a Ph.D. in embedded systems and optimal control.

Shawn-Cantor-Leadership-Team

Shawn Cantor

Chief Revenue Officer

Mr. Cantor leads all of our sales efforts, including ongoing new business sales, go to market planning and execution, as well as strategic initiatives which will map sales success to our product road map. Shawn joined Marathon Data Systems as Chief Revenue Officer in January 2014. He was formerly with ReachLocal (NASDAQ: RLOC) as Vice President, North American Sales - during that time he launched the sales channel in 2006 and grew it to over 600 employees, 49 offices and $200m+ annual revenue. Prior to ReachLocal, Shawn founded JAC Media, which provided specific lead generation sites for the medical and legal verticals, this quickly morphed into a full service interactive digital agency across the United States and culminated in a partnership with ReachLocal in 2005. Shawn cut his teeth on Wall Street and spent six years as an investment adviser with Barington Capital Group. Shawn holds Series 7 and 63 General Securities Representative as well as his Series 24 General Securities Principal from FINRA, and has a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.

Kelly-Gliatta-Leadership-Team

Kelly Gliatta

Vice President of Customer Support

Mrs. Gliatta is responsible for the technical support and customer service aspects of the business, which includes all aspects of customer service, implementation, training, and documentation for all of Marathon’s software products. Kelly joined Marathon Data Systems as a customer service representative in July 1999 and has led the Technical Support team since January 2004. Kelly has a B.A. with Honors in psychology from Georgian Court University.





Jason-Kochel-Leadership-Team

Jason Kochel

Chief Solutions Architect

Mr. Kochel currently serves as senior developer, personally driving key strategic initiatives across the organization. Additionally, he leads our IT Infrastructure team, managing Marathon’s cloud infrastructure. Jason joined Marathon Data Systems first as an intern in June of 1996, and full-time in June of 1999. He architected the company’s transition from a Windows-based application to a web-based one and was quickly elevated to the position of Chief Technology officer, leading product management, driving all core application development, enterprise-wide module development and process improvement initiatives for Marathon’s pest and lawn verticals. Jason has a computer science and economics degree from Dartmouth College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.



Curtis-Knazick-Leadership-Team

Curtis Knazick

CPA, Vice President of Finance

Mr. Knazick leads Marathon's Accounting and Human Resoures teams. Curtis brings over 20 years of experience in start-up, mid-sized and large companies where he has held senior financial and operational positions at both public and private venture backed companies. Prior to Marathon, Curtis held senior executive roles with Metavante Risk and Compliance Solutions a division of Metavante Corporation, a publicly held financial technology company. Prior to Metavante, Curtis held senior roles at Thomson Financial, Broadbeam Corporation and Chase Manhattan Mortgage, the Internal Revenue Service and CPA firm Cowan, Gunteski & Company. Curtis holds a B.S. degree in Management Information Systems from Ramapo College of New Jersey and is a Certified Public Accountant.




Bill-Hazard-Leadership-Team

Bill Hazard

Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Hazard leads Marathon’s Research & Development and Technology Operations across all product lines. Bill joined the Marathon team in September 2014. Prior to joining Marathon, Bill led Engineering at Infragistics, a leading data visualization product company. He also previously served as Vice President of Engineering at register.com, where he led development and architecture for their retail and wholesale systems. Bill’s engineering teams have won two Jolt Cola Awards and two Code Project Members Choice Awards for software quality. Bill graduated from Brown University with a Sc.B. in Computer Science. He co-founded the New York City chapter of the International Association of Software Architects and is a member of the New York CTO Club.
